Brockdish Village Hall

Details of some the events that we are running are here

The Village Hall has been buzzing over the last few months!

Whilst on the subject of Monday Minglers, the Village Hall has recently been given a “Winter Pressures Grant” from South Norfolk and Broadland Council.  The Winter Pressures Grant was created to allow community organisations to create projects that will support individuals and families struggling with the rising costs of living.  The grant was applied for on behalf of Monday Minglers and will be spent on some new games and equipment for them.  We have also been awarded, via Brockdish Parish Council, a grant for the purchase of some Pickleball equipment – we will get that started in the New Year – watch this space!

Bar Licence:  The good news is that we have been granted a licence to serve alcohol on the premises, within certain times and guidelines.   This means we can serve drinks at any of our functions so PLEASE make sure you bring your card or money with you.  Please remember that the Bar, as with the Hall, is be run by volunteers.  Please be kind to them and be prepared for a small wait for your drinks.  None of us are bar staff by trade and it’s not an easy job to do.  We’re all very excited about the licence and the mice have been hiccupping their way around under the stage for weeks!

Church Quiz Nights 2026:  16th May, 11th July, 5th September, 7th November

(tables of up to 6, light supper included, please bring your own drinks, 8pm start)

Brass Band Concerts 2026:   Tuesday 1st December 7.30pm

For any of these, please speak to Peter Croxson on 01379 668630

If you’re having an event and need more space the Village Hall is available to hire and we also have tables and chairs, crockery and cutlery available to borrow for a donation.  There is also a meeting room available – please speak to one of the committee

Follow the comings and goings at the Village Hall on Instagram @brockdishvillagehall or on Facebook “Brockdish Village Hall” and please note the Village Hall is a (well behaved) dog friendly zone.
