Brockdish Village Hall Updates

The Village Hall has had some updates this month (August 2025)

● Outside Space: Geraniums were planted in tubs by the entrance to give a bit of summer colour. A big thank you to John and Jackie Spooner for
the donation of the plants.
● We would also like to extend thanks to Ben and Lisa for stepping in to
keep the VH clean and tidy while our lovely Peter was indisposed.
● Dog-Friendly Addition: A dog bowl has been placed for furry visitors to
enjoy while their owners relax on the bench.
● Interior Makeover: The Hall has received a mini facelift with a fresh coat
of paint and some new window coverings. Many thanks to Neil Major for
his time and effort in painting.
● A small shed has been added to the front of the Village Hall (next to the
phone box). There are books inside that you are welcome to swap with
a book that you think someone else would love to read. The rules for
the shed are on the inside of the door. There is a box at the bottom for
donations to the Harleston food bank. Please do not leave perishable
items.

Save the Dates
Saturday 6th December: Join us for the Christmas tree light switch-on! This
year, the Brockdish Christmas tree will have a new home. Come along to see it
being lit, enjoy drinks, snacks, and Carol singing. All proceeds will help to keep
your village hall open for another year.
